The design basis for alarm, prevention and firefighting systems should account for the credible undesirable events that may occur in the facility concerned. The engineering design should be supported by: (1) Engineering and loss prevention good practices; (2) Codes of practice (e.g. NFPA); (3) Legislation; and (4) Corporate Guidelines. \nc- Electric power supply;
\nd- Controls;
\ne- Distribution lines and layout;
\nf- Hydrants, necessary flow rates and pressures;
\ng- Gas extinguishing systems;
\nh- Cooling systems;
\ni- Water spray and deluge systems;
\nj- Supervisory and alarm systems;
\nk- Secondary containment;
\nl- Horizontal compartmenting;
\nm- Vertical compartmenting;
\nn- Portable and wheeled fire extinguishers;
\no- Signaling;
\np- Emergency lighting;
