Compatibility Study
This hazard identification technique is still little widespread and should preferably be applied to the stages of research & development and technical and economic feasibility analysis of the project to point out:
a- the basic hazards of the compounds involved in the process or in transit through the plant, whether they are raw materials, intermediate, final or waste products;
b- The results of the possible interactions among the various compounds in transit through the plant;
c- The results of the possible interactions among the various compounds in transit through the plant and the materials of construction.
