Ethic and Compliance Program Implementation

 Every day, newspapers headlines remind us that takes years to build a reputation, but just seconds to destroy it. A careless mistake, a lapse of judgement or illegal behaviour can seriously damage a company or individual reputation.

Only with the commitment with the highest standards of Ethics and Integrity will enable company to keep and enhance reputation. By doing business on the correct way will reinforce the company sustainability, communities relationship and relations with stakeholders.

The Ethics and Compliance Program is based on the Code of Conduct, which is the company and the employees commitment with the ethical behaviour and social and environmental responsibilities.  The Code of Conduct must contain the following elements:

  1. Legislation: Responsibility and transparency in attending local and international legislation. This includes bribery, corruption and health, safety and environmental responsibilities.
  2. Business Integrity: Practices of advertisement and sales, authorities’ relationships, gifts and entertainment policy, conflict of interest and negotiation with political oppressive regimes.
  3. Society: Relationship with community, communication with stakeholders and diversity.
  4. Science, research and development, product quality and property rights

Employees must be trained and sign a commitment with the Code of Conduct
